Construction
When constructing a Wind Car, you must think of the plan you designed for the:
|
The Platform
I use the cardboard as the body of my Wind Car. I use the glue gun to put 2 paperclips inbetween 2 popsicle sticks. I glue the popsicle sticks to the bottom of the piece of cardboard. I repeat this with the other popsicle sticks and paperclips.

 |
The Wheels
The wheels are hard to put on. I have to jam one wheel onto a dowel and slip the dowel through the paperclips. I then attach the other wheel to the other side of the dowel. I have to be careful to press hard enough to get the wheel on, but not break the Wind Car! Repeat for the other wheels.

 |
The Sail
I then glue the binder clip to the top of the platform. Kimberly helps me decide where to put the sail. She says that if you put it in the front, the car will have too much momentum and tip over. She also says the car will have maximum acceleration if the sail is more in the back. So, we put the sail in the back. I open the binder clip to put the mast in. I cut out my sail and glue it to the mast.

Now it's time to put the construction in action. Follow me as I test the reliability of my design and construction of the Wind Car!
